A perfect vacuum for cleaning ashes from our pellet stove. Great suction. No ash or dust blowing around when turned on. Large filter bag which does not clog up like paper filters. We have tried many vacuums and this is the best. Easy to assemble and low maintenance. Highly recommend this vacuum!

Great vacuum, used 2 years, only thing is there’s 3 filters to clean and the motor will run fine and cooler

Product works very good. It takes me 60 seconds a day to vacuum out fireplace and I have never had a problem with motor overheating. Every week I take the motor unit outside and hit with the leaf blower to clean out. I've had mine over 5 years with no problems

I have a power Smith ash vacuum cleaner and I had it for 2 years. I only use it for cleaning out the pellet stove and that’s only winter months. So my point is I can’t believe it just stopped working. It won’t work. Is it under warranty?

Best suction available in an ash vac and longest power cord! Love how fast it cleaned every cranny in my big fireplace insert pellet stove. Filter is FANTASTIC at keeping ash/soot only in the vac and the optional attachments are well worth it to expand what you can reach to clean and motor is very quiet for a vac. I LOVE MY VAC!.

I bought the Powersmith PAVC101 in 2021 and it has a bad motor. It was used less than 10 times, but I could not get warranty service because I could not find my receipt. I have ordered a rebuilt powerhead ($39) since the other components (attachments, canister, and filters) are basically new. I hope the replacement powerhead is built better than the original.

Want both ash vaccines replaced because bought both the same day and one motor stopped working in Nov 2022 months ago and now other vehicles ne stopped today February 2023 I’ve had both less than a year and had one by each pellet stove

I've had my PowerSmith ash vac for about 7 years now and it does a good job. However, over time ash soot enters the motor housing and blows out through the top exhaust port. I regularly take the motor housing apart and blow out the dust from around the motor. I now find that there is an "after market" add on of a motor filter that fits inside the filter support grate. This filter should help in reducing the amount of soot that enters the motor housing, and will minimize soot dust "puffs" from entering your living areas.
